The Lyons Farmette is a place to gather, grow, enjoy and learn.
The Lyons Farmette, a community garden and farm owned by our good friends Betsy and Mike hosts outdoor Aprovecha cooking classes. The farmette is home to 160 of the sweetest chickens we’ve ever met, a few sheep, and their guard llama as well as an organic flower and herb business and lots of veggies.
Classes are about learning, eating delicious local food, socializing, and enjoying live music. Our classes are experiences as well as education, and we’re excited to share such a special place with you.
Come eat, dance, chat, pet chickens, connect with friends and land and relax into this beautiful summer.

Coming from the south/east:
Look for the driveway on the north side of the highway with a red mailbox and a scrap metal chicken, about half a mile west of the intersection of Ute hwy/66 and Hwy 36.
If you reach the shopping center you’ve gone too far.
